LISA  KATARINA  LINDQVIST

Lisa's artistic flair led to her excelling in a variety of creative vocations including:-
Environmental sculpture work; prop, model and costume maker for television, stage and film productions; and teaching sculpture techniques in Dorset schools. In October 2000 Lisa was offered a two year student position at the Elisabeth Frink School of Figurative Sculpture in Tunstall, Staffordshire.
Over recent years her work has been included in exhibitions at The Orangery, Holland Park, London – ING and The Discerning Eye Partnership, London Wall and in June 2002 she was selected to show four pieces in the Sculpture in the Garden Exhibition at Kingston Lacy House, Wimborne, Dorset. These pieces were life size or greater and reflected her ambition to create large sculptures for public places and private gardens.
In 2006 she was commissioned to create two figurative sculptures, three quarter life size, for permanent residence at the Four Seasons Resort at Terre Blanche, Tourrettes, France.
In addition to conventional sculpture carving Lisa has also enjoyed regular involvement in annual International Snowcarving competitions throughout the world.
Since first representing Britain in Lapland, Sweden in 1993 she has competed in Quebec Canada, Harbin China, Estonia, Japan and Greenland – gaining two first places and a third place.

Lisa has also been responsible for sculpting a room at www.icehotel.com 

near Kiruna, Lapland, over recent winters.

In 2006 she was commissioned for two figurative sculptures, three quarter life size, for permanent residence at The Four Seasons Resort, Tourrettes (now Terre Blanche Resort).
More latterly Lisa has installed three stunning large sculptures, in bronze resin, in the lovely grounds of a beautiful villa in the Terre Blanche Domaine.
"Man of Roads" looks out on the Terre Blanche Golf Course while "Eden" directly welcomes you to the villa.
