Nigel and Tessa opened the gallery in May 2004 after completing the unfinished construction work and the property now offers a spacious four bedroom home plus a 90 square metre gallery area – which also has permission for habitation use if so desired.
The views from the property and the terrace are outstanding and stretch right down to the coast some 20 kilometres away - as the crow flies.

Tessa continues to paint under her maiden name, Tessa Peskett, and has built a reputation for highly original paintings and drawings. Since commencing the gallery, where she works as the Artiste en Residence, she has sold over 200 pieces to clients worldwide. See website www.theorangetreegalerie.com for more images.
In the nineties Tessa was a frequent exhibitor at the Royal Academy of London Summer Shows as well as the Laing and Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries.
For many years now Tessa has been a member of the Maison des Artistes in Paris.
